Shoulders Part 2 – Activation and Relaxation
Shoulders are interesting joints… why? There are two bones that need to move together to help the joint actions occur: the shoulder blade and the arm bone. When the rotator cuff muscles are strong, they help to maintain the connection of the arm bone into the socket. Additional muscles help to stabilize the shoulder blade and protect the front of the joint to reduce rotator cuff compression during weight bearing activities
Wanna learn how to strengthen these core muscles of the shoulder while enhancing healthy movement both on and off your mat, Join Tricia Lancaster for a 4-part Shoulder Therapeutic Workshop on Sundays in January. Investment is $30 per person, per workshop.
