Our shoulders are one of the most complex joints in our bodies. However, due to all the modern convenience we have available to us, we rarely take full advantage of our potential shoulder movements. For the vast majority of our day, we use only a tiny portion of our shoulders’ possible range of motion, which can leave them stiff and in pain. Lack of varied movement at the shoulder joints can also lead to more severe issues such as tendinitis, bursitis, and frozen shoulder.
Come unwind, bind and discover shoulder stability and mobility techniques to improve your range of motion and strength. This workshop will empower students to establish optimal shoulder alignment to apply to activity in your life, from computer work to your yoga practice.
Practice will include demystifying chaturanga, arm balances, and inversions. Best for students with some understanding of basic yoga postures.
